Last weekend, I went to the busiest streets on the Asian side of Istanbul. In this post, I’m going to take you around this street.
A Unique Turkish Shopping Street
In these streets, you’ll find a lot of shops. It’s like a shopping street, just like Istiklal, but what I find unique with this street is that you will find a lot of Turkish-owned shops.
Unlike when you go to the malls, you’ll find a lot of shops that are international brands. But here, you’ll find a lot of shops that are Turkish-owned, which is great quality.
I’ve bought a few things from here, and I never regretted it — the quality is good.
Budget-Friendly for All
The best thing about this street is you’ll find options for any budget. If you want high-end clothes — like expensive clothes that are great quality — for example, a dress that is 700 Turkish Lira (which is expensive), you will find it here.
And you can also find a dress for 170. So, you can find a budget for everyone here. That’s what I like about this street.
My Go-To Butterfly Abaya Store
There’s a particular shop I normally come buy butterfly abayas from,although I also sell butterfly abayas myself. Their abayas were actually nice too. I’ve gotten a lot of requests in my DMs asking me about abayas in Turkey. Their abayas are actually decent. If you want wholesale, like if you buy many pieces — they’ll sell you one piece for 25.
And if you’re buying retail, like one piece, it’s around 40 dollars, which is like 600 Turkish Lira. If it’s wholesale, it’s 400 Turkish Lira. A Mosque and a Day Well Spent
There is a mosque that I love best. It is the mosque I pray in when I come here. So you can come here and literally spend the whole day. You’ll find places to eat and a place to pray — how convenient! That’s the one thing I really love about here.
